Penks is the stylishly modern London equivalent of a classic French bistro.
Whilst the wonderful food is English, French, Mediterranean and sometimes global, the sense of home comfort, lack of pretension and friendly atmosphere is reminiscent of those establishments which used to be on every street corner in Paris, serving the locals and having its place in the community.
The emphasis here is on proper food - served elegantly, great wine - imported directly, and value for money. Penks has been open since 1998 and in this time, it has been recognised as one of the best restaurants of its type in London. Recently nominated in The Evening Standard’s Top Ten Local London Restaurants and recommended by major London publication Timeout, Penks is a great family-run bistro just 15 minutes by taxi from Central London and 2 minutes walk from Queens Park tube station. Groups and private parties are also welcome. |

Served from 18:00. Last orders at 22:30 Sunday to Thursday, and 23:00 on Friday and Saturday.
