| Modern European Restaurant |
| Established south of the River Thames in June 2001, Baltic Restaurant and Bar is Jan Woroniecki’s second restaurant and has become the premier dining destination in the area, just 5 minutes from Waterloo Station and within walking distance of the Tate Modern and South Bank. Covering a varied range of tastes from the Baltic to the Adriatic, Baltic Restaurant and Bar specialises in seasonal Eastern European cuisine such as Biog (Polish Hunter’s Stew) in the winter and Cholodnik (Chilled Beetroot, Radish and Yoghurt Soup) in the summer. Redesigned by architect Seth Stein and retaining its original character, Baltic is situated within a late 18th century coachbuilder’s building. Step by step, he modest entrance into the Amber Bar expands out into a grand single storey structure with 40-foot wooden trussed ceilings, skylights and galleries, making Baltic a truly unique and exceptional dining experience. |
Opening Times: Open for lunch from 12:00 to 15:30 and 18:00 to 23:15 for dinner. The bar is open from 12:00 to 24:00. |
